Mollie and Tobin Krell, the founders of Homestead 1839, were featured on Kelly and Ryan Live as their Good News Story of the Day. Mollie and Tobin have been active supporters of the Clearinghouse for Work-based Learning for years. In fact, the first project we launched our site with, back in 2019, was between Homestead 1839 and Des Moines Public Schools. Since then Mollie and Tobin have worked with over 20 other schools on their projects – Design a Butterfly Garden and Design a Chicken Tractor.
